Gold Ornaments Worth Rs 8 Lakh Stolen From Kagaznagar Jewellery Store
Kumram Bheem Asifabad: Gold ornaments worth around Rs 8 lakh were stolen from a jewellery store in Kagaznagar town after unidentified persons allegedly broke open the shop shutters on Saturday night.
According to police, the Kagaznagar jewellery store theft occurred around midnight. The offenders reportedly entered the shop after breaking the shutters and stole approximately four tolas of gold ornaments.
Masked Men Steal Gold Ornaments
Police said the unidentified persons were wearing masks while carrying out the theft. CCTV footage recorded at the jewellery store reportedly captured the movements of the offenders.
The miscreants allegedly managed to steal only a limited quantity of jewellery as a large number of gold ornaments had been securely locked inside a separate room.
The stolen gold ornaments are estimated to be worth around Rs 8 lakh, according to the police.
Police Examine CCTV Footage
After receiving information about the Kagaznagar jewellery store theft, police reached the scene and conducted an inspection. Officials collected clues from the spot and examined CCTV footage from the jewellery store.
Police are also scanning CCTV recordings from other locations in Kagaznagar town to trace the movements of the suspects and identify those involved in the theft.
A case has been registered and an investigation is underway.
Special Teams Formed to Nab Offenders
Police have formed special teams to identify and apprehend the suspects involved in the Kagaznagar jewellery store theft.
