A first-year engineering student died after a lighting fixture collapsed during a Dandiya event at MSVR Engineering College in Nadergul on Saturday, October 17, police said. Fifteen other people were injured in the incident and are reportedly out of danger.
The deceased has been identified as Sona. According to Adibatla Police, who spoke to Siasat.com, the lighting structure collapsed amid windy conditions during the event.
