Hanamkonda SI Booked for Alleged Sexual Exploitation, Forced Abortions and Blackmail
A Sub-Inspector (SI) posted in Telangana‘s Hanamkonda district has been booked following serious allegations of sexual exploitation, criminal intimidation, and coercion made by a married woman. The complainant has accused the police officer of establishing a relationship with her on the false promise of marriage, forcing her to undergo abortions, and threatening to leak private photos and videos.
The case has drawn significant attention after the woman approached senior police officials seeking action against the officer.
Hanamkonda SI Booked; Woman Approached Police Seeking Help in Marital Dispute
According to the complaint, the woman first came into contact with SI Godari Raj Kumar when she visited a police station in Hanamkonda seeking assistance regarding a dispute with her husband.
The complainant alleged that the officer gradually gained her trust by assuring her that he would help her obtain a divorce from her husband. She further claimed that Raj Kumar promised to marry her and start a new life together.
The woman stated that the officer allegedly misrepresented personal details about his family life and convinced her that he intended to end his existing marriage.
Relationship Allegedly Built on Promise of Marriage – Hanamkonda SI Booked
Based on the complaint, the officer allegedly took the woman to various locations, including accommodation facilities in Hanamkonda, where he established a physical relationship with her by repeatedly assuring her that he would marry her.
The woman alleged that she agreed to the relationship believing the officer’s promises regarding marriage and a future together.
However, she later realized that the promises were allegedly false and were being used to maintain the relationship.
Allegations of Secret Recordings and Blackmail
One of the most serious allegations in the complaint involves the alleged recording of private photographs and videos without the woman’s consent.- Hanamkonda SI Booked
The complainant claimed that the officer secretly captured intimate content and later used it as a means of intimidation whenever she questioned him about fulfilling his promise of marriage.
According to her statement, he allegedly threatened to release the photos and videos if she continued to pressure him regarding their future relationship.
The woman alleged that these threats caused her significant emotional distress and fear.
Forced Abortions Alleged in Complaint
The complaint further states that the woman became pregnant on two occasions during the course of the relationship.
She alleged that the SI forced her to consume abortion pills both times and pressured her to terminate the pregnancies against her wishes.
These allegations form a key part of the ongoing investigation and are expected to be examined thoroughly by the authorities.
Threats Against Family Members Also Alleged
In addition to the allegations of exploitation and blackmail, the woman claimed that the officer threatened her brother, who is reportedly serving in the police department.
According to the complaint, Raj Kumar allegedly warned that he could negatively impact her brother’s career if she pursued legal action or reported the matter to higher authorities.
The complainant stated that these threats were intended to discourage her from seeking justice.
Case Registered, Investigation Underway
Following a formal complaint submitted to the Inspector General of Police, Hanamkonda police registered a case against the Sub-Inspector and initiated an investigation into the allegations.
Police officials have confirmed that the matter is under investigation and that appropriate action will be taken based on the findings of the inquiry.
Authorities have not yet released further details regarding the specific charges filed against the officer.
