In a shocking incident, Begumpet police busted a sex racket being run from a graveyard near Shyamlal Complex and arrested three people during a late-night raid.
According to officials, the raid was conducted based on specific intelligence inputs. Police apprehended Madhavi, who was operating the racket, along with a victim and a client identified as a civil contractor. All three were caught red-handed inside the graveyard premises.
Investigations revealed that rooms and secluded areas within the graveyard were being misused to run the racket. Police said that young women were lured into sex work and the location was chosen to avoid public suspicion.
Cases have been registered against the accused under relevant sections of law. Authorities confirmed that a detailed investigation is underway to identify others involved in the network and to check if similar operations are being run in other areas of Hyderabad.
