Hyderabad 23 December, The state government has made it clear that it will apply for spousal cases, including appeals against joining new postings, in line with the government’s zonal policy of announcing guidelines on couple transfers. The General Administration Department has issued directions to this effect. Employees will have the opportunity to appeal if they have objections to the allocations made in accordance with the new zonal policy. However, the appeal was allowed only after joining the new postings earlier. District cadre employees have to appeal to the District Branch. Zonal and Multizonal Cadre employees have to appeal to the Branch Head. The department heads should report all the appeals received to the concerned departmental secretary. The government has directed the secretaries of all the departments to resolve the appeals expeditiously after a full inquiry. The government has also issued guidelines for spousal cases. Spouse cases will be examined to ensure that employed spouses work in the same place. The government has said it will apply under spousal cases only after joining the allocations made in line with the new zonal policy. District Cadre Employees to District Branch . Zonal and Multizonal Cadre Employees are required to apply to Branch Heads. Department heads are required to review all spousal case applications and report to the relevant departmental secretary with appropriate recommendations. The government has directed the secretaries of all the departments to look into all these and resolve them expeditiously. Chief Secretary to the Government Somesh Kumar has issued instructions to this effect.
