In an official statement, the airline said:
“The aircraft landed safely in Delhi, and all passengers and crew have safely disembarked.”
The airline further stated that a small number of injured passengers and crew members were taken to a medical facility at the airport for precautionary medical assessment and treatment.
“A small number of passengers and crew members with minor injuries requiring medical assessment have been taken to a medical facility at the airport for precautionary examination and care by Air India’s airport team and medical personnel,” the airline added.

The aircraft involved in the incident was an Airbus A320 operating as AI2379 from Phuket to Delhi.
Data available on the flight-tracking platform Flightradar24 indicated that the aircraft experienced a temporary loss of altitude before its arrival in Delhi, consistent with the turbulence event reported by the airline.
