Drunken Youths Damage Gram Panchayat Office Wall During Alleged Tractor Theft
A late-night tractor theft attempt by a group of allegedly intoxicated youths ended in failure after the vehicle crashed into the compound wall of a Gram Panchayat Office in Peddamallareddy village of Bikkanoor mandal, Kamareddy district.
According to reports, four drunken youths allegedly attempted to steal a tractor that was parked near the Gram Panchayat Office. During the theft attempt, one of the accused, who was driving the tractor, reportedly lost control of the vehicle and rammed it into the Panchayat office’s compound wall, causing significant damage to the property.
The entire incident was captured on CCTV cameras installed near the Gram Panchayat Office. The footage has since become a crucial piece of evidence in the investigation.
Following the crash, local villagers rushed to the spot and managed to catch one of the accused. The individual was allegedly thrashed by the villagers before being handed over to the police. Meanwhile, the remaining three suspects fled the scene and are currently absconding.
Police have registered a case against the accused and launched a search operation to trace and apprehend the remaining suspects. Further investigation is underway to determine the full sequence of events and establish the involvement of each accused.

Investigation Underway
Police are examining the CCTV footage and collecting additional evidence to identify the absconding accused. Officials are also verifying whether the suspects were involved in any previous theft-related offences in the region.
