Husband Kills Wife Amid Suspicions Over Her Frequent Visits to Her Parents’ Home. A 32-year-old man was arrested by Bahadurpura Police for allegedly murdering his wife following prolonged marital disputes and suspicions regarding her frequent visits to her parents’ home.
The incident, which occurred in Hyderabad’s Bahadurpura area, has once again highlighted concerns over domestic violence and family-related conflicts.
The accused, identified as Sulaiman Sayeed alias Suleman, a resident of Kishan Bagh, allegedly killed his wife Nishad Fatima (30) after years of strained relations and unresolved disagreements.
Husband Kills Wife Following Long-Standing Domestic Disputes
According to police officials, the couple had been facing marital problems for several years. Investigators said Sulaiman frequently suspected his wife’s character and often objected to her visiting her parental home, leading to repeated arguments between the couple.
Authorities revealed that several efforts were made to reconcile their differences through mediation proceedings conducted by Lok Adalat. However, despite multiple attempts, the disputes remained unresolved.
Police said the accused allegedly subjected his wife to both physical and mental harassment, further worsening the relationship and creating tension within the family.
Murder Allegedly Planned After Heated Argument
Investigators stated that a heated argument broke out between the couple on June 7. Following the altercation, Sulaiman allegedly decided to kill his wife and concealed a kitchen knife inside the house.
According to the preliminary investigation, Nishad Fatima was alone at home and asleep when the accused allegedly attacked her. Police said he slit her throat, causing fatal injuries that resulted in her death on the spot.
The brutal nature of the crime has shocked local residents and drawn attention to the growing issue of domestic violence-related incidents.
Accused Allegedly Attempted to Destroy Evidence
Police officials said the accused allegedly attempted to destroy evidence after committing the crime. He reportedly disposed of both his mobile phone and his wife’s mobile phone before fleeing the scene.
A police team launched an investigation and traced the accused based on available evidence and witness statements. He was subsequently arrested and taken into custody.
Investigators are currently examining digital records, forensic evidence, and other material connected to the case.

Bahadurpura Police have registered a case and initiated further legal proceedings. Officials said the investigation is ongoing to establish the complete sequence of events and gather additional evidence.
