Hyderabad Police Issues Traffic Advisory for Bibi-ka-Alam Procession on June 26
The Hyderabad Traffic Police has issued a comprehensive traffic advisory ahead of the annual Bibi-ka-Alam procession, scheduled to take place on Friday, June 26. The traffic restrictions and diversions will remain in force from 12 pm to 10 pm to ensure the smooth conduct of the religious procession and public safety.

Major Traffic Diversions Announced
According to the traffic advisory, vehicular movement will be restricted on several key roads along the procession route.
Traffic heading towards Bibi-ka-Alawa will be diverted at Sunargalli ‘T’ Junction towards Dabeerpura Darwaza and Ganga Nagar Nala via Yakutpura.
Similarly, vehicles moving towards Shaik Faiz Kaman will be diverted at Jabbar Hotel towards Dabeerpura Darwaza or Chanchalguda whenever required.

Restrictions Along Procession Route
As the procession moves through various locations, additional diversions will be implemented:
- Traffic from Purani Haveli towards Etebar Chowk will be restricted when the procession reaches Ganga Nagar Nala.
- Vehicles from Moghalpura and Volta Hotel will be diverted via Bibi Bazar Crossroads.
- Traffic from Mitti-ka-Sher and Madina towards Etebar Chowk will be diverted at Gulzar House.
- Vehicles from Moghalpura Water Tank will be diverted at Hafez Danka Mosque when the procession reaches Kotla Alija.
- Traffic from Shakkerkote towards Gulzar House will be redirected through Ghansi Bazar or Chelapura.
Diversions Near Charminar and Nayapool
When the procession reaches the Charminar area, traffic restrictions will become stricter.
Vehicles coming from Nayapool will not be allowed towards Charminar and will be diverted at Madina Crossroads towards City College.

Restrictions Around Miralam Mandi and Chaderghat
As the procession progresses towards Miralam Mandi and Alawa Sartauq, traffic from Chaderghat Rotary, Salar Jung Museum, Shivaji Bridge, and Noorkhan Bazar will face diversions.
Motorists travelling from Chaderghat towards Kali Khabar will be redirected via Ranga Mahal or Koti through Chaderghat Bridge.

RTC Bus Services to Be Diverted
The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (RTC) will operate buses on diverted routes between 10 am and 9 pm.
RTC buses will be routed through Rang Mahal and Afzalgunj and will not be permitted to travel on Kali Khabar and Miralam Mandi roads during the specified period.
