KTR Seeks Recruitment for 20,000 Vacancies
Meanwhile, Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) Working President K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) has urged the Telangana government to issue recruitment notifications for 20,000 police department vacancies.
In an open letter addressed to Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on July 3, KTR highlighted the concerns of police constable and Sub-Inspector aspirants across the state.
He stated that many candidates come from poor and middle-class families, particularly from rural Telangana, and spend years preparing for competitive examinations while staying in hostels and paying guest accommodations in Hyderabad.
According to KTR, these aspirants invest significant time, money, and effort in pursuit of government employment, and the state has a responsibility to provide timely recruitment opportunities rather than prolonging uncertainty.
