Ghatkesar Woman Allegedly Beaten to Death by Husband While Sleeping
Police suspect alcohol addiction and marital disputes may have led to the alleged killing of 37-year-old Madhavi in Dwaraka Nagar
A 37-year-old woman was allegedly beaten to death by her husband while she was asleep at their residence in Dwaraka Nagar, Ghatkesar, on Wednesday morning, police said.
The deceased was identified as Madhavi, who had been married to Katravath Raju for around 18 years. The couple had been living in Ghatkesar for nearly 15 years and have three children. Ghatkesar Woman Allegedly Beaten to Death by Husband While Sleeping
According to the police, Raju had allegedly been addicted to alcohol for around three years and frequently quarrelled with Madhavi. Police suspect that marital disputes and his alleged suspicion over her conduct may have played a role in the incident.
Woman allegedly attacked while asleep

She sustained severe injuries and died at the scene, according to the police.
Following information about the incident, Ghatkesar police reached the residence and began an investigation. A case has been registered against Raju in connection with the alleged killing.
Police investigation underway
Police are investigating the circumstances that led to the incident and are questioning the accused and other individuals as part of the probe.
