Woman held for allegedly killing husband with lover in Hyderabad’s Miyapur

A woman from Hyderabad‘s Miyapur has been arrested for allegedly murdering her husband with the help of her alleged lover before burying his body near the Maharashtra border in an attempt to destroy evidence.

The victim has been identified as 45-year-old Pentesh, a realtor.

According to police, Pentesh had gone missing in December 2025, following which his wife, Satyavathi, filed a missing person complaint at the Miyapur Police Station.

However, during the investigation, police reportedly found inconsistencies in Satyavathi’s statements after analysing call detail records (CDRs) and CCTV footage.

Based on the evidence, investigators allegedly uncovered a murder conspiracy involving the woman and her alleged lover. Police believe the victim was killed and his body was transported and buried near the Maharashtra border to conceal the crime.
