Former Hyderabad Mayor’s Sister Goes Missing Since June 4, Complaint Filed
Former Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) Mayor Gadwal Vijayalaxmi has filed a missing person complaint with the Banjara Hills Police regarding her sister, K. Namrata (57), who has been untraceable since June 4.
The complaint was officially lodged on Monday, June 15, after the family was unable to establish contact with her for several days.

According to the complaint, Namrata is a resident of Banjara Hills Road No. 12 in Hyderabad. She reportedly left her residence at around 10 AM on June 4 without informing anyone and has not returned since.
Police officials have registered a missing person case and initiated an inquiry into her whereabouts.
Former Mayor Raises Suspicion
In her complaint, former Mayor Vijayalaxmi Gadwal reportedly expressed suspicion over the involvement of three individuals:
- Satish (35)
- Satyanarayana (45)
- Kumari (45)
The family has requested police to verify their possible involvement and investigate all angles related to the disappearance.
Police Statement on Missing Woman Case
Speaking to media, Banjara Hills Police officials stated that Namrata had reportedly contacted her family shortly after leaving home and informed them that she was traveling to visit a relative in Kakinada.
However, after that communication, there has been no further contact, and her current location remains unknown.
Police added that all possible leads are being examined and efforts are underway to trace her.
Investigation Underway
Police teams are currently tracking mobile records, travel details, and possible CCTV footage to determine the movements of the missing woman.
Officials have confirmed that the case is being treated as a priority missing person investigation.
