A 42-year-old nurse lost her life in a tragic hit-and-run accident in Hyderabad’s Asifnagar area on Sunday. The victim, identified as Faheemunnisa, was reportedly on her way to work when an Innova car struck her and fled the scene.
The incident has sparked concern among residents as police continue their efforts to trace the person responsible for the fatal crash.

According to police officials, Faheemunnisa, a resident of Hill Colony in Mehdipatnam, was walking towards her workplace when the speeding vehicle rammed into her.
She sustained severe injuries in the accident and was immediately shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment. Despite medical efforts, she succumbed to her injuries while undergoing treatment.

Driver Fled After Accident
Police said the driver did not stop after the collision and escaped from the spot, making it a hit-and-run case.

Vehicle Was Reportedly Hired on Self-Drive Basis
During the investigation, police discovered that the Innova car involved in the accident had been rented on a self-drive basis by an individual.
Authorities are currently working to trace and apprehend the person who hired the vehicle. Preliminary information suggests that the vehicle may have been rented by the son of a local politician, though officials have not yet confirmed further details.

The Asifnagar police have launched a detailed investigation into the incident and are pursuing multiple leads to identify the driver responsible for the fatal accident.
Officials stated that appropriate legal action will be taken once the accused is located.
