She went on to describe the protesters as “Generation Gutter,” claiming their language and conduct during the demonstrations were offensive and inappropriate.

In a follow-up post, Ranaut also criticised young women participating in the agitation, describing their behaviour as “most appalling.”
She contrasted them with what she described as independent women who make bold choices while taking responsibility for their actions. Speaking to reporters at the Parliament complex on Tuesday, Ranaut defended her statements, alleging that protesters had used abusive language against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his late mother.
She said protests in the past maintained decorum and questioned whether those participating in the agitation reflected the values expected of students.
CJP Responds to Kangana Ranaut’s Remarks
Responding to the controversy, Cockroach Janta Party chief spokesperson Saurav Das rejected Ranaut’s criticism and said Gen Z had contributed more to the country than she had.
He also claimed that even members of Ranaut’s own party did not take her remarks seriously and argued that young people had played a key role in strengthening democratic participation through peaceful protests.
Das added that as a Member of Parliament, Ranaut should exercise greater responsibility while making public statements.
Opposition Leaders Condemn Comments
Several opposition leaders also criticised Ranaut’s remarks.
Congress MP Imran Pratapgarhi said Gen Z would respond to her comments democratically. Congress leader Renuka Chowdhury described the statements as unfortunate, while Samajwadi Party MP Dimple Yadav termed them insensitive.
AIMIM leader Waris Pathan urged Ranaut to apologise to Gen Z, stating that students had exercised their constitutional right to protest and expressing support for their democratic participation.
