Woman Allegedly Beats Husband to Death Following Family Dispute in Mahabubabad
A woman allegedly killed her husband following a domestic dispute at Ram Singh Thanda in Gudur mandal of Mahabubabad district, police said.
The deceased has been identified as Boda Lalu, a resident of Ram Singh Thanda. According to police, Lalu worked as a car driver in Hyderabad, while his wife Vijaya was involved in agricultural activities in their native village.
Frequent Family Disputes
Police said the couple had been experiencing marital differences for some time and frequently quarrelled over family-related issues.
According to preliminary investigations, tensions between the husband and wife had been ongoing, leading to repeated arguments.
Argument Turns Fatal
Lalu had reportedly attended a family function on Wednesday and returned home during the early hours of Thursday.
Soon after his return, a heated argument broke out between the couple. During the altercation, Vijaya allegedly attacked her husband with a grinding stone.
The blow caused severe head injuries, and Lalu died on the spot, police said.

After receiving information about the incident, Gudur police rushed to the village and began an investigation.
Officials conducted a preliminary inquiry at the scene and collected evidence related to the case.
According to Gudur Sub-Inspector Giridhar Reddy, family disputes appear to be the primary reason behind the incident.
A case has been registered against the accused woman, and further investigation is underway to establish the exact circumstances leading to the murder.

Police are questioning family members and local residents as part of the investigation.
