Father Arrested for Allegedly Sexually Assaulting Minor Daughter
A 45-year-old man was arrested by the Sanathnagar police for allegedly sexually assaulting his minor daughter, police said on Saturday, August 8.
According to police, the accused had allegedly been sexually assaulting his second daughter since March. However, a complaint was registered with the police only on August 6.

According to reports, the accused was addicted to alcohol and frequently quarrelled with his wife and children.
Police said the alleged sexual abuse of the minor girl continued for several months before the family approached the authorities. Following the complaint, the Sanathnagar police registered a case under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
The accused was subsequently arrested and sent to judicial custody, police said.
The investigation is currently underway, and police are examining the circumstances surrounding the alleged abuse.
Hyderabad Sees Repeated Cases of Sexual Abuse of Minors
Cases involving the alleged sexual abuse of minors have been reported in different parts of Hyderabad and its surrounding areas.
Last month, a case involving a 13-year-old girl who was allegedly sexually assaulted by her maternal uncle and two other relatives was reported from the Keesara police limits.
In another recent incident, a minor girl travelling to school was allegedly picked up by a man on a motorcycle and assaulted in a park within the Sanathnagar police limits.
Authorities have repeatedly urged people to report suspected cases of child sexual abuse to the police and ensure the safety and protection of minors.
